Disabled Accessible Parking Permits

disabledDisabled Parking Permits are issued by the Issuing Agent where you reside. If you live in the Town of Lansing please go to the Town Clerk's Office. If you live in the Village of Lansing please go to the Village Clerk's Office.

To download a form click HERE or you can pick up a form at our office or call 607-533-4142 and we will be happy to mail one to you.  We will need to see your NYS Drivers License as the last three numbers of you license will appear on your permit.

  • Part one of the application is completed by the person with the disability.
  • Part two of the application must be completed only by a Medical Doctor (MD) Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). Please certify whether the patient's disability is permanent or temporary.

PERMANENT PARKING PERMITS (Blue) are good for five years and are renewable. A new application form is not required.

TEMPORARY PARKING PERMITS (Red) need an expected recovery date.

Accessible Parking Permits are good in any vehicle the person riding in
