NOTICE TO TOWN OF LANSING RESIDENTS OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PROPOSED CONSOLIDATED WATER DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT TO CONNECT WATER MAINS ALONG TEETER ROAD: Please take notice that a public hearing will be held upon December 18, 2024, at 6:31 pm, at the Lansing Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York 14882, for the purpose of receiving public comment upon a proposed CWD improvement project to eliminate two watermain dead-ends by connecting them with a new main to create one continuous 8” watermain on Teeter Road. The project consists of 579’ of 8” watermains, related valves, hydrants, and connection assemblies, as well as site excavation and restoration, at a total project cost of $142,680. The project is to be installed and paid for by the subdivision developer at no cost to the Town, and no borrowing or increase in taxes is associated with this project. At the time and place of the public hearing the Town Board will take statements, testimony, and evidence from the public, and any individuals with visual, hearing, or other impairments or disabilities that require, or wish to request, assistance should contact Town Clerk Deborah Munson at (607) 533-4142 at least 48 hours prior to the time of the Public Hearing.
