Town Board Public Hearing - Proposed 2025 Assessment Rolls for Town Water, Lighting, Drainage and Sewer Districts

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held upon Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 6:31 pm, in person at 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY.

For the purpose of hearing comments or objections upon the completed assessment rolls for and in connection with the improvements consisting of the costs of debt service for construction and related capital costs for the Lansing Consolidated Water District (“CWD”), CWD Extensions 1, 2, 4 (Lansing Station Road and Drake Road) and 5 (Peruville Road) and for lands within Lighting Districts Numbers 1, 2, and 3, (Ludlowville, Warren Road, and Lakewatch), and for the Lansing Drainage Districts Numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 (Pheasant Meadows, Whispering Pines, Lake Forest, Farm Pond Circle, Lansing Commons, Woodland Park, Cayuga Way, Novalane, East Shore Circle and Asbury Road), and the Lansing Sewer Districts (Cherry Road and Warren Road) (all together, the “Districts”), the same having in all cases for all Districts having been filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Lansing. The Town Board will, at such public hearing, receive public comment upon such assessments and take statements, testimony, and evidence from all persons interested in the subject hereof and concerning the same, and the Town Board may or will take such other action thereupon as is required or permitted by law. All residents of the Town and the general public are invited to attend this public hearing. Mobility impaired and similarly situate citizens or senior citizens who require assistance in attending said public hearing, or in furnishing comments and suggestions, should contact the undersigned Town Clerk to request such assistance.  Members of the public may view the Town Board meeting live or recorded on the Town’s YouTube channel.
